Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment

For some individuals, it may not be necessary to come to the hospital  to receive help. Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry can send mental health professionals to your home or community to help you achieve and maintain  independence and success in your own environment.

Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry provides an array of individualized  mental health services for adults delivered by a team of community based  professionals. Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) helps  individuals to achieve and maintain independence in the community by  providing the following services:

  • On-going assessment
  • Mental health interventions
  • Support and Advocacy
  • Linkages and referrals to community resources
  • Medication education
