At Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry in Columbus, we are proud to offer a spectrum of behavioral healthcare for both adults over the age of 18 and older adults. Through a therapeutic, serene setting, conducive to healing, we work hard to create an atmosphere of dignity, respect, and confidential care for our clients. Many of our clients find that our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a wonderful step down from our acute inpatient services or as a step-up from traditional outpatient therapy programs. This PHP psychiatric program is an intense and goal-driven day treatment program that helps our clients to overcome their behavioral and emotional challenges in a less-restrictive environment than our inpatient program. Many of our clients are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, alcohol or medication abuse, or personality disorders that are addressed in a comprehensive, structured environment that allows for maximum healing.

A Typical Day in our Partial Hospitalization Program
Clients in our PHP, an outpatient program for mental health treatment in Columbus, attend our program during the day from 10AM to 3PM while returning home on the weekends and evenings to allow for their independence in the community and in their lives. Our partial hospitalization program offers the following:
